In an earlier post I wrote about creating hand-drawn QR code-like images during long meetings. Rather than drawing very large grids, we can use small grids to generate abstract logos or identicons:
The grid of dots that generates the pattern is 6×6, giving us 236 possible patterns, or almost 69 billion. Colors further expand the possibility space, as does using more than two colors.
In the next post we'll revisit another exploration to create identicons in a much smaller possibility space.
